During the winter, the skiing region of Meran 2000 in the nearby area offers ample opportunity for you to enjoy yourself.  Only 4 km from Schenna, the Ifinger cable-car will transport you into the area above Meran, South Tyrol.

7 lift facilities, 40 km of pistes, 18 km cross-country trails, 25 km winter hiking trails and a toboggan run, await you.  The family-friendly and very sunny ski region offers a professional ski school, as well as 3 ski hire stores and a winter kindergarten with a baby lift.

Snow-guaranteed glacier skiing regions.

The Schnals Valley glacier area (3,200 metres - 50 minutes drive) on the one hand and the Stilfserjoch glacier area (2,757 metres - 80 minutes drive) on the other, allow you to ski, even during the summer months.
